ONLINE BOOKING GUARANTEE & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. We are a small boutique restaurant with demand for our very limited seating, and your dining experience is carefully planned and prepared in advance by our team. A credit card booking guarantee per person is required to secure your booking, and your card details stored securely by a Third Party (Stripe). Nothing will be debited when you place your booking, however we have the right to charge the booking guarantee amount per person for the following reasons:

  • Late Cancellations (including late requests to reschedule, reduction in seating) within 48 hours prior to your booking

  • Failure to Show Up (bookings are considered a no-show after 30 minutes)

2. Booking updates or cancellations must be made in writing via email to hello@janobistro.co.nz. You can also cancel your booking via the link provided in your confirmation email.

3. For group bookings of 7 guests or more, a deposit or credit card is required to secure your booking, with some T&Cā€™s tailored to your specific booking outlined in our email to you.

GENERAL ONLINE BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Please ensure you provide all details regarding dietary requirements/allergies at the time of placing a booking with at least 72hrs notice. Failure to do so may result in some courses removed from the menu due to insufficient notice at your cost. We can confirm that we are unable to cater for Allium-free and FODMAP dietaries.

2. We kindly ask our guests to arrive at their designated time booked for to ensure a smooth service for everyone.

3. Seating time allocation for 5.30pm bookings on Wednesdays and Thursdays is 2.5 hours, as we require the table to be returned to us by 8pm for our next booking.

4. As a courtesy you agree to contact the restaurant if you have any changes, updates or need to cancel your reservation.

5. Your reservation will be allocated to the best available table at the time of your reservation. If there are issues with climbing stairs, please advise so we may allocate a table for you downstairs.

6. If you are using a Gift Voucher, please ensure you provide your voucher number in the NOTES section of the booking form.

7. Prices are subject to change at our discretion without notice.

8. We are not a BYO restaurant which includes all food and drink.

9. A 2.5% surcharge will be added to all credit card payments.

10. If you use our Sites and Services, you will receive communication via electronic messages, including email, text message/SMS, or mobile push notifications in accordance with the venue's privacy policy. If you no longer want to be part of the venues customer database or to be contacted in this manner, please contact the venue in which you made the reservation to be removed.
